Our Editorial Policy

What this site is

My Health and Wellness Info publishes practical consumer-health information: symptom guides, medication cost and savings-program explainers, supplement evidence reviews, and healthy-aging resources. We are an independent publisher. We are not a medical provider, and nothing here is medical advice — where a decision touches your health, we say so and point you to a professional.

How content is produced

  • Research first. Every page starts from primary sources: government health agencies (CDC, FDA, NIH), peer-reviewed research, and — for drug savings programs — the manufacturer’s own official program pages.
  • Modern tools, human accountability. We use research and drafting tools, including AI assistance, in producing our content. Every page is directed, reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by our editors before it publishes. Our editors write under consistent staff bylines; the byline on a page is accountable for what it says.
  • Sources are shown. Factual health and program claims carry citations that link to a sources list on the page.
  • Program facts are verified against official sources. Copay amounts, eligibility rules, income limits, and phone numbers on savings pages are checked against the official program before publish, and rechecked on a schedule.

How content is updated

Health information and assistance programs change. Pages display a real “Last updated” date that changes only when the content substantively changes. Savings and seasonal pages are reviewed at least annually — savings programs around their calendar-year renewal, seasonal pages before each season.

What we won’t do

  • No fabricated credentials. Nobody on this site claims a medical qualification they don’t hold, and “medically reviewed” will only ever appear when a real, verifiable licensed professional has reviewed the page.
  • No scare tactics, no miracle cures, no content written to sell you a specific product.
  • Advertising is clearly distinguishable from content and never influences editorial conclusions.
