Covid-19 disease is caused when an individual gets an infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
Easily spread through respiratory droplets (cough, sneeze, etc.), Covid-19 has signs and symptoms very similar to a common cold or flu, Tiredness, Cough and Fever.
Additional Covid-19 Signs and Symptoms
While most people associate tiredness and cough with covid-19, additional signs and symptoms can include:

These symptoms range from mild too extreme.

Individuals who have tested positive or have been around someone with covid-19 and begin to experience the following symptoms should seek immediate medical attention:
- Chest pain or pressure
- Trouble breathing
- Trouble staying awake
- Blue or gray skin
Covid-19 Treatment
There is currently only one medication available for covid-19.
The FDA has approved the following drugs as treatments options for covid-19.
- Remdesivir
- Paxlovid
- Molnupiravir
- Baricitinib
- Monoclonal medications
Some of these drugs are only administered for hospitalized patients, and others may be prescribed for home recovery.
