Request a Correction or Claim a Listing
Our doctor listings are built from public records, Google listings and practices' own websites, and we re-check them every quarter. Details still change between updates: practices move, phone numbers change, and doctors join or leave. If something is wrong, tell us here.
What you can ask for
- A correction. A wrong phone number, address, website, practice name, specialty or service.
- A claim. You're the provider or work at the practice and want to confirm the listing and keep it accurate.
- A removal. The provider has retired, moved out of state or left the practice, or the practice has closed.
Claiming a listing is free. It doesn't change where a listing appears, because nobody can pay for placement. See how we build our listings.
We review every request, and we may contact the practice to confirm a change before we make it. Please don't include personal health information.
What happens next
We review requests every week. For corrections, we check the new detail against the practice's own website, Google listing or the NPI registry before changing anything. Removals for retired providers or closed practices are made once we can confirm them. Providers can also update their own NPI record through the federal NPPES system, which keeps future quarterly updates accurate.
