What Is Yeso Therapy?

Did you know you don’t have to limit yourself to going to the gym to speed up your metabolism and burn more fat?

It can be possible to sculpt your body while giving yourself some much-needed rest and relaxation. The way to do this is by trying certain therapies like yeso therapy.

A great way to achieve the desired results is to maintain a healthy balance between strenuous exercise at the gym and relaxing activities like yeso therapy.

But what exactly is yeso therapy, how does it work, and is it something worth trying? Below we answer these questions to help you decide if yeso therapy makes sense for you.

What Is Yeso Therapy?

The term “yeso treatment,” which is often called “yesoterapia,” originates from the Spanish word “yeso,” which means “cast.”

Body casting has been an effective weight loss method for many years. In particular, it’s very popular in Spain, the Caribbean, and Latin America. However, this form of weight loss has only recently been gaining popularity in the United States.

Yeso therapy uses a plaster body wrap to help people lose weight. The treatment involves wrapping the abdomen in plaster structures, specifically a girdle, to compact it completely.

The idea behind this is that the body sheds the fat in a relatively short amount of time in a natural and measured manner because of the pressure. Additionally, it helps reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks.

Additionally, these products contain natural ingredients that are lighter and dry more quickly than the typical medical cast that a doctor would use if a patient breaks a bone.

How Does Yeso Therapy Work?

The water-soluble minerals found in the lipolytic yeso therapy plaster have regenerative, slimming, and reducing properties. Algae extract, hydrolyzed collagen, proteins, enzymes, and mineral salts are some of the ingredients that can be found in this product.

Yeso therapy products cause vasodilation, which in turn causes a thermogenic fat-loss reaction.

In order to provide compression and generate heat, the fibers bind particular areas, most typically the abdominal region, the arms, and the thighs. The heat assists the skin in absorbing the nutrients that are infused into the cast fibers. Also, a nutritive cream is administered before the cast is applied to induce enhanced fat burning from the metabolism.

How Long Do You Wear a Yeso Wrap?

How long do you need to keep a yeso wrap on? Most recommendations are that it be left on for at least four to eight hours for optimal absorption. After the wrap is applied, most people will go home. Then, when it’s time for the yeso wrap to come off, you can do it yourself at home. Your treatment provider will provide instructions on how to do this.

How Often Do You Need To Do Yeso Therapy?

After just one yeso treatment, most patients will experience an improvement in their situation.

However, for more dramatic results and to keep a toned stomach and thighs, it is suggested that yeso therapy be performed in 10 to 15 sessions. This will help maintain a toned stomach and toned thighs (depending on client goals).

The total number of sessions required depends on a number of additional factors. This includes your overall health, genetics, and diet.

Following the completion of your initial treatment series, it is recommended that you undergo a single treatment once per month as maintenance.
