Nasal Polyp Surgery
If the treatment options noted above don’t work, you may have to undergo surgery to remove your polyp issue.
The most common surgery for nasal polyp removal is endoscopic surgery.
This usually involves removing the polyps and correcting any other issues that might be leading to them.
The surgery involves a small tubes with a light and tiny instruments used to remove polyps and even enlarge the openings from your sinuses to your nasal passage.
This is typically an outpatient surgery with nose spray’s or saline rinse’s prescribed afterwards to maintain and prevent future issues.
